What is the ruling regarding my daughter reading from a Mus'haf that fell into the sewage, got wet, and was then cleaned?
If the impurity is removed from the Mus'haf and the bad odor vanishes, then there is no harm in reading from it and memorizing from it. However, if the odor or traces of the impurity remain, and it is impossible to purify it, then it is permissible to burn it and replace it with another, out of reverence for the Book of Allah and to preserve it from impurity and bad odor.
