Has earning become permissible after the blocking of forbidden websites, and what is the ruling on advertising a program that unblocks banned websites?

We have previously explained in fatwas that the reason for prohibiting advertisements is the subscriber's lack of control over the advertisements displayed on their page and the unlawful content they might encounter therein. If this reason (illah) is removed and the cause for prohibition ceases, then the ruling revolves with its reason, existing or non-existing. Therefore, as long as you control what is displayed on your pages in terms of advertisements and prevent the display of what is impermissible, there is no harm in what you earn as compensation for promoting what is permissible and advertising what is lawful.
