Is it better for women in prayer rooms at women's colleges to pray in congregation or individually, and which carries more reward?

It is better for women to pray in congregation if possible, but the reward of twenty-seven degrees is specific to men. The preponderant opinion is that it is permissible for women to pray in congregation, and for a woman to lead them in prayer; rather, it is even recommended. This is supported by the Prophet's permission to Umm Waraqah to lead the people of her household in prayer, and the occurrence of women leading other women in prayer among the Mothers of the Believers, such as Aisha and Umm Salamah.
