Is it permissible to supplicate with the noble verse: "And We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and We have covered them, so they do not see" in all situations, such as being late for work to avoid reprimand, or to avoid disturbing someone or hearing what is displeasing?

It is permissible to supplicate using the Holy Quran and the noble Hadith, but only with what is permissible to supplicate with according to Sharia, and indeed supplication is worship.
