The answer

It has been established in the that reciting Surat Al-Baqarah expels Satan from the house, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is recited." Although there is a that specifies his fleeing for three days or nights, it is weak. Satan's escape does not mean that he will not return after the recitation ends, for he flees from the then returns. The intent of the Hadith is to illustrate the virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah and to encourage perseverance in its recitation, pondering its verses, acting upon them, and removing evil deeds from the house. This weakens Satan and prevents his dominance over the household.
