Is one who dislikes reading and only reads their academic books sinful, and what is the meaning of Allah Almighty’s saying: “Recite in the name of your Lord who created”?

The meaning of the verse was previously explained in Fatwa no. 76973. Reading books is one of the means of seeking knowledge, but it is not the only means. Knowledge may be acquired through other means. Furthermore, some knowledge is obligatory, and some is supererogatory. A person incurs sin by failing to acquire obligatory knowledge.
