The celebration of Mother's Day is not permissible. Honoring parents throughout the year, being kind to them, and supplicating for them is sufficient and renders the celebration of this Eid unnecessary. One must adhere to the Sharia and not be concerned with traditions and customs that contradict it. Moreover, one should beware of heedlessness and repent before it is too late.
