What is the ruling in Islam regarding a man who intended to repent after becoming involved with a woman thirty years his senior, from whom he took a lot of money with her consent, and they engaged in acts displeasing to Allah, and his intention for the involvement was to obtain money, not marriage, and he is now unable to confess this to her? And what is the ruling on the money taken with her consent?

Both the man and the woman must sincerely repent. Regarding the money the man took:
- If the money was for marriage with the woman and the marriage did not take place, he must return it to her.
- If the money was for adultery (zina), it has a different ruling.
- If the money was merely a gift or a donation, he is not obligated to return it.
