Did we err in expelling our daughter from the home after her relationship with a non-Muslim man and her pregnancy by him, and her rejection of religious rulings despite our attempts to raise her with an Islamic upbringing?

Residing in disbelieving lands is a cause for calamities. It is advisable to return to Muslim lands to preserve the children's religion. Expelling a girl from the home is subject to an assessment of what serves the greater good. If it prevents a greater harm, then there is no objection. However, if its harm is greater and will lead to her ruin, then it is not permissible. The solution then is to confine her and prevent her from influencing her sisters. If the girl chooses disbelief, she must be expelled and disowned, based on the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, he is not of your family; indeed, he is [the outcome of] unrighteous work." There is no objection to maintaining ties with her and trying to win her over, hoping for her return to Islam.
