Expelling a daughter in such a state is impermissible, as it will lead her to commit transgressions and deviance. The daughter deserves immunity and protection from corruption, and she must remain under the care of her family until she marries. Scholars have differed on the age at which a young girl remains under the custody of her mother, but they have agreed that she should not be in a place where corruption is feared for her. One must not despair of admonishing the daughter and attempting to reform her.
