I want to know more about the wrath of Allah Almighty?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi mentioned in his commentary on al-Tahawiyya that the madhhab (school of thought) of the Salaf and the Imams is to affirm the attributes of anger and pleasure for Allah Almighty, as they are mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, without any allegorical interpretation that deviates them from their true meanings. Allah has clarified in His Book that He becomes angry with disobedient unbelievers and hypocrites, with those who do not supplicate to Him, with the Jews who knew but did not act upon their knowledge, and with the adulterous wife who conceals the truth. And if a servant repents from what incurs Allah’s anger, then Allah accepts his repentance.
