Should a woman who has been given a revocable divorce (ṭalāq rajʿī) remain in her husband's home, or should she go to her father's house until her husband takes her back?

A woman who has been revocably divorced must remain in her husband's home, and it is forbidden for the husband to expel her, as Allah Almighty says: (Do not expel them from their homes, nor should they leave, unless they commit a clear immorality). This is because her remaining may be a reason for the husband to reconcile, as Allah Almighty says: (Perhaps Allah will bring about thereafter some affair). During this period, it is permissible for her to uncover herself, adorn herself, perfume herself, and speak with him, except for sexual intercourse, which occurs after reconciliation, whether by word or deed.
