Do the facilities affiliated with the mosque share the same ruling as the mosque itself?

The courtyard of a mosque (rahbat al-masjid) is not considered part of it by the Hanafis, Malikis, and Hanbalis, according to the more sound opinion (as-Sahih). However, the opposing view (muqabil as-Sahih) among them is that it is part of it. As for the Shafi'is, they held that it is part of the mosque. Abu Ya'la reconciled the two narrations by stating that a courtyard which is enclosed and has a door is part of the mosque. Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh is of the opinion that whatever is within the mosque's wall is part of it, and whatever is outside is not.
