What is the ruling on taking back one's wife after divorcing her three consecutive times, when the first time she was not in a state of purity and the second time she was seven months pregnant?
Regarding the statement made to one's wife, "You are divorced, divorced, divorced":
If he intended three divorces: three divorces occur, and his wife becomes irrevocably separated from him (baynunah kubra), and she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband and then he divorces her. If he intended emphasis, or had no intention: it is counted as a single divorce.
If the questioner intended, by the first utterance, that each word constituted a separate divorce, then the woman has become irrevocably separated from him (baynunah kubra), and his taking her back is invalid. However, if his intention was merely emphasis, or he had no specific intention, then a single divorce occurred, and taking her back is valid.
One must be cautious regarding matters of divorce, as they are grave and entail significant consequences.
