What is the ruling on choosing a magician character in computer games?

It is forbidden to teach magic or promote it in video games. It is also impermissible to watch games involving magic or participate in them by choosing a magician character, as this constitutes acceptance of an evil, or an endorsement of it, and an aid in its propagation. For everything that is forbidden in itself, watching it is also forbidden, because it is an aid to sin and an acceptance of it.
