Is it necessary to change the name "Rimas" if its meaning is "dust and darkness of the the grave" or if it has no meaning in the Arabic language?

Parents should choose a name with a good meaning, one that does not violate Islamic law, and is in accordance with the Arabic language; because the name is the newborn's title, adornment, and emblem. The meaning of "Rimas" that the woman mentioned—that it refers to the dust and darkness of the grave—has no evidence in language books. Rather, what is known is "al-rams" meaning the concealment of news, burial, and the grave. "Rimas" is not mentioned in Arabic language books, which indicates that it is a foreign name.

It is not obligatory to change the name "Rimas" if there is no sharia prohibition in it. Even if it is proven to be foreign, changing it is recommended, not obligatory, unless the name involves worshipping other than Allah.
