Am I entitled to seek a divorce from my husband because of my insistence that he divorce his first wife, who resorts to witchcraft and sorcery and incites her children against him, after my husband endured her for 14 years?

First, the validity of the accusation against the other wife for witchcraft must be verified, as she might be innocent. It is impermissible for a woman to ask her husband to divorce her co-wife so she can be the only one with him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not lawful for a woman to ask for the divorce of her sister (co-wife) in order to empty her plate (i.e., to have all the husband's attention and resources), for she will only get what has been decreed for her." However, if the other wife is harming the husband and the children, then there is no blame on the other wife for advising the husband to divorce her, but the decision rests with the husband alone.
