What is the ruling on staying away from the neighborhood mosque due to the Imam's recitation being full of egregious errors?

You are not required to pray in the nearby mosque in your neighborhood. You may pray in other mosques where you feel at ease praying. This should not be a reason to abandon congregational prayers in mosques and pray at home, unless there is a legitimate شرعي impediment.
