Adultery is forbidden by the Qur'an, , and scholarly consensus, and its consequences are grave. Whoever commits this abomination must hasten to repent. One who commits adultery with a girl does not bear the sins of her subsequent acts of adultery, for a person is not held accountable for the transgression of another, as Allah Almighty said: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
