Is the Prophet's command to walk calmly to the mosque applicable to other life matters, such as walking for ablution?

The characteristic of the Servants of the Most Merciful is that they walk upon the earth humbly, meaning with tranquility, dignity, and humility, and without arrogance, as the Holy Qur'an describes them in His saying: "And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth humbly." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, combined tranquility, dignity, and swiftness in his walk. His walk was moderate, between the walk of one who feigns weakness and the walk of one who is agitated. It was a walk that suggested resolve, vigor, and strength, and it is the most balanced and comfortable walk for the limbs. A Muslim is forbidden from hastening exhaustingly when going to prayer so that he does not enter it without devotion.
