What is the remedy for the [evil] eye at the present time?

Treatment for the evil eye involves Ruqyah Shariah (Islamic exorcism), which entails reciting verses from the Holy Quran, such as Al-Fatiha, Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas), and the concluding verses of Surah Al-Hashr and Al-Mu'minoon, while blowing upon the afflicted person. Alternatively, these verses can be recited over water, which is then drunk and used for bathing. Ruqyah also includes prophetic supplications and incantations like "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and harmful creature, and from every evil eye" and "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath and punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of devils and from their presence." If the person who cast the evil eye is known, they are commanded to perform ablution (wudu') and then bathe with the water from their ablution, which is then given to the afflicted person to drink.
