Is it permissible to stay up until Fajr on school holidays to watch cultural and entertainment programs?

Time is a vessel for deeds, and idleness is a problem that leads to behavioral and moral deviations. Leisure time, especially during holidays, should be utilized through beneficial cultural programs and memorizing the Qur’an. Staying up late is not forbidden in itself; rather, its ruling depends on how it is utilized—whether for obedience, disobedience, or permissible acts. Caution must be exercised to ensure it does not lead to missing the Fajr prayer in congregation or delaying it beyond its prescribed time.
