We have previously clarified in numerous fatwas the impermissibility of multi-level marketing due to its inclusion of usury and (excessive uncertainty). However, if the situation inquired about involves a company selling a permissible product, and marketing does not require a financial subscription or the purchase of a product, and the commission is known, then this is permissible; otherwise, it is not.
