Is religion life itself, and if so, how?

Islam is the only religion that suits human nature, fulfills its needs, reassures its heart, and brings it happiness in both worlds. It gives life meaning and answers its mysteries, as Allah Almighty said: "Is he who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darknesses, never to emerge therefrom? Thus has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing" [Al-An'am: 122]. Ja'far ibn Abi Talib explained to the Negus how Allah saved them through Islam from their ignorance, and life today has no value except by adhering to this religion.
