Will God forgive her and pardon her for swearing a false oath against her husband, and will He shield her in the Hereafter just as He shielded her in this world?

The Sacred Law has permitted a husband and wife to lie to each other when necessary, in order to preserve the marital relationship, provided that the lie does not lead to the forfeiture of any right for either of them. As for swearing a false oath, it is not permissible except out of a genuine and recognized necessity, such as when it is the only way to avoid divorce or the husband's suspicions, while employing dissimulation (tawriya) in the oath as much as possible. There is no sin in this if the intention is to maintain the marital relationship, for scholars have permitted lying to achieve a recognized benefit if it is the only way to do so. The wife is advised to treat her husband well, live with him harmoniously, and ask for his general forgiveness.
