Is it permissible to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers and offer them before the time of Dhuhr due to work circumstances that prevent offering the prayers at their [prescribed] times?

Prayer is a pillar of Islam, and it is impermissible to neglect it or delay it past its legally prescribed time without a legitimate excuse. Whoever does so is threatened by the words of Allah Almighty: "So woe to those who pray [But] who are heedless of their prayer" (Al-Ma'un: 4-5). Prayer is not valid before its time begins. The questioner should strive to take a few minutes from her work time to perform the prayer with its purification before its time expires, for the time for purification and prayer is a right of the employee and is not part of official working hours. If the workplace prevents her from praying, she must look for another job that does not conflict with prayer times.
