Islamic Sharia lifts hardship and facilitates matters. What afflicted the questioner is a trial for which he will be rewarded for his patience. If urination typically takes time to cease, one should wake up early to urinate and perform ablution. If he wakes up late and needs to urinate, there is no sin upon him for waiting until the urine stops, even if he misses the congregational prayer, because he is excused, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is no prayer in the presence of food, nor when one is resisting the two excretions." Therefore, one should go [to relieve himself] before enough time for the urine to cease, and if this is not possible, then he must wait, even if he misses the congregation, as long as he is in a state of holding it.
