The book to be translated should be chosen carefully, consulting with scholars and specialists. Regarding weak hadiths, the judgment of whether they are weak or authentic may be a matter of scholarly disagreement. As for what no one has authenticated, or what scholars have unanimously agreed upon as weak, attention should be drawn to it. If the book is beneficial and most of its hadiths are authentic, there is no objection to translating it. It is good for the translator to convey a summary of the hadith scholars' ruling on the weak hadiths in a footnote.
