What is the ruling on hanging plaques on the mosque wall containing the names of Allah, in front of and behind the worshippers, given the disagreement among worshippers regarding this?

The scholars' disagreement regarding hanging Qur’anic plaques in respected places has been previously mentioned. Hanging verses of the Qur’an and the Beautiful Names of Allah in the mosque is permissible because it is a respected place, even if it is not required or recommended, due to the fear that the writing might fall and be trampled upon. However, if the plaques are in front of the worshippers and distract them, then placing them is disliked, due to the established dislike of looking at anything distracting during prayer.
