What is the ruling on hanging Quranic verses and the Beautiful Names of Allah on walls?

The majority of jurists dislike writing the Quran on walls and curtains for fear of disrespecting it. They prohibit writing it on rugs and carpets that are walked upon, as this constitutes certain disrespect. As for acquiring and hanging Quranic plaques, it is permissible due to the low probability of their disrespect, with the caution of not hanging them in places of amusement and sin. Writing the Beautiful Names (of Allah) on plaques is not disliked; rather, it is disliked to write them on rugs and carpets, and trampling upon them is forbidden.
