It is not permissible to circulate Hadith widely on the internet without verifying their authenticity. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against fabricating Hadith about him, and "It is enough sin for a man to narrate everything he hears." As for the Hadith "If you see him, pledge allegiance to him even if you have to crawl on snow, for he is Allah's Caliph, the Mahdi," its meaning is authentic without the addition "for he is Allah's Caliph, the Mahdi."
