What is the ruling on money resulting from renting out the accommodation of the wife and children, which was allocated to them as an increase to the Egyptian envoy's salary, in the event that they leave the European country without the knowledge of the responsible authority, which stipulates their presence for the continuation of this increase?

The Sacred Law encourages trustworthiness and warns against betrayal. Caution and piety are necessary when dealing with public funds, as they belong to the nation and it is impermissible to defraud them. What has been taken from them unjustly must be returned. One should be keen on earning a lawful livelihood and remember that "no soul will die until it has completed its term and received its full sustenance. So, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking (your livelihood), and let not the delay in receiving sustenance prompt any of you to seek it through disobedience to Allah, for what is with Allah cannot be attained except through obedience to Him."
