Is a husband entitled to refuse procreation from his wife and marry another with the intention of having children from her, under the pretext of his first wife's old age, even though doctors believe she is capable of conceiving?
Procreation is a shared right between spouses, and neither has the right to prevent the other from it. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is permissible if the -compliant conditions are met.
Therefore, if doctors determine that you can conceive through this method and your husband is convinced, then there is no objection. However, if he is not convinced, then the husband is not religiously obligated to agree to conception by this method.
Understanding and respect should prevail between you. You should supplicate frequently, and you may seek help from some virtuous individuals whose words you hope he will accept and who may have an influence on him.
