Do the deceased, among their relatives, feel it when the living experience distress or hardship?

The feeling of the deceased regarding distress or hardship that afflicts their relatives after their death is a matter of the unseen, for which no legal evidence has been reported. Scholars have differed regarding the deceased's feeling of their relatives' visit and hearing their speech. The majority opinion is that they do hear their speech, while it was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that they do not hear.
