Is it permissible to use contact lenses while fasting, knowing that they are placed in a special solution for cleaning?

It is permissible to use contact lenses while fasting, even if some cleaning solution leaks into the eye, because eye drops do not invalidate the fast according to the most correct opinion among the sayings of the scholars. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioned that a fasting person does not break their fast by using kohl, eye drops, or ear drops, even if they taste it in their throat, because it is not food or drink.
