Adultery is one of the most heinous sins and greatest major offenses that incur Allah's wrath. The sin of a married man or woman is more severe, and their punishment is stoning to death. If a husband does not satisfy his wife, she has the right to seek divorce or khul', and it is not permissible for her to commit indecency. This woman must repent to Allah by abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, while concealing it and not publicizing it. The implementation of hudud (prescribed punishments) is the responsibility of the ruler. Whoever commits a sin must conceal it and strive in repentance, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O people, it is time for you to desist from Allah's prescribed limits. Whoever commits any of these abominations should conceal it with Allah's concealment, for whoever reveals his affair to us, we will apply Allah's book upon him."
