Is it permissible to insult Muslim journalists who are viewed as liberals or "secular mules," under the pretext that this is from the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Islamic religion?

The fundamental principle in dealing with people is kind speech, based on the Almighty's saying: "And speak to people kindly."

It is not permissible for a Muslim to use obscene language, even with those who might deserve rebuke and harshness.

Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, responded to the Jews who said "Al-Samu alaykum" (death be upon you) by saying "Wa alaykum" (and upon you), and he forbade Aisha from using obscene language in her reply.

A true believer is not one who slanders, curses, uses obscene language, or is vulgar.

No one can be judged as an infidel except after proving their adoption of principles of disbelief, establishing the proof against them, and fulfilling the conditions for excommunication while negating its impediments.

One must beware of rushing into excommunication.
