Is it necessary to raise one's voice to say "yarhamuk Allah" (may Allah have mercy on you) to someone who sneezes in a different room?

"Tashmit" (saying "Yarhamukallah" - May Allah have mercy on you) to one who sneezes is a communal obligation (fard kifayah) if they praise Allah. This obligation is fulfilled if one person says "tashmit." The sneezer must hear the sound of the "tashmit." If they are far away and praise Allah, "tashmit" should still be offered, even if they are in another room, unless it necessitates raising one's voice excessively or disturbing others. It is authentically reported that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) offered "tashmit" to a sneezer from one side of the mosque, and that Abu Dawud bought a boat for one dirham to offer "tashmit" to a sneezer on the shore. This demonstrates the importance of making the "tashmit" audible.
