ما هي الكيفية الصحيحة للتيمم ومتى فُرض؟

The legitimacy of Tayammum (dry ablution) and its obligation in the absence of water originated from the incident of Aisha's necklace being lost during one of the journeys. The Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Companions searched for it, and they had no water. Thus, the verse of Tayammum was revealed. This journey was for the Battle of Al-Muraysi', in the sixth or fifth year of the Hijra. As for the manner of Tayammum, it involves striking the earth once, then blowing into the hands, then wiping the back of the hands, and then wiping the face.
