Is an expiatory payment or charity obligatory upon a wife who prayed for the death of her fetus twice due to the hardships of pregnancy?

It is not permissible to supplicate against a child except with good, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade supplicating against oneself, one's children, or one's property. The wife should seek forgiveness and be pious, and she should know that the difficulties of pregnancy are natural, which is why Allah urged kindness to parents. As for the husband, he must forgive his wife and excuse her, and she is not required to offer expiation for her supplication.
