Does divorce occur if it takes place over the phone or via a text message?

If a man says to his wife over the phone: "You are divorced" (anti taliq) or "I divorce you" (tallaqtuki), one divorce (talaqa) occurs. Similarly, divorce occurs if he writes a message on a mobile phone to his wife or to anyone else stating that he has divorced her, provided he intended divorce.
