Should a ten-year-old girl fast Ramadan if she experiences a "spotting" discharge?

The relied-upon position in the four madhhabs is that a girl who sees blood at nine years of age is considered menstruating. The age of ten is considered an age of menstruation, and menstruation is one of the signs of puberty. Brownish or yellowish discharge (kudrah) at a time when menstruation is possible is considered menses, even if seen by a beginner (one who has not menstruated before), provided it lasts for a full day and night. So, if the kudrah lasts for a day and a night, it is considered menses, and the girl is deemed to have reached the age of legal accountability (taklif), and fasting and prayer become obligatory upon her. If it lasts for less than that, it is not considered menses nor a sign of puberty.
