Is it permissible for the sponsor to take the value of the check from the former employee, knowing that he does not possess the money, and is this money considered unlawful, knowing that the employee did not work in the same field?

It is not permissible for the sponsor to stipulate a sum of money or impose a bond on his sponsored person in exchange for transferring sponsorship. Sponsorship is a contract of benevolence, in which bargaining is not allowed, and taking money in this manner is considered consuming wealth unlawfully. Presenting a check to the police and the resulting imprisonment is an act of injustice and aggression.
