What is the ruling on a man frightening a woman who has wronged his wife, considering his action to be retaliation for his wife and believing that severity in upholding rights is permissible?

The Shariah has forbidden terrifying a Muslim and prohibited pointing weapons at him, as stated in the authentic Hadith: "It is not permissible for a Muslim to terrify another Muslim," and "None of you should point a weapon at his brother, for he does not know, perhaps Satan may make his hand slip and he falls into a pit of Hellfire," and "Whoever points a piece of iron at his brother, the angels curse him until he puts it down, even if he is his brother by blood." Imam Al-Nawawi emphasizes that terrifying a Muslim is forbidden in all circumstances, whether in jest or play. The man erred and wronged the woman, and he must seek forgiveness and repent.
