What is the ruling on jokes that mock the Holy Quran and are attributed to characters known for their wickedness?

The aforementioned statement is a great abomination and a mockery of the words of Allah Almighty. Whoever mocks it is a disbeliever, threatened with a severe warning, as stated in His Almighty saying: (Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?" (65) Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief). This jesting with the words of Allah is disbelief, because diligence is the brother of truth and knowledge, and jesting is the brother of falsehood and ignorance. Those who receive this message must denounce it and not propagate it, as it distorts the meaning of Allah's words, applies them to what is forbidden, and contains disbelief in Allah and mockery of His words. One must beware of the harvest of tongues, for a word can plunge its utterer into the Fire. The intention to mock is not a prerequisite for jesting with disbelief to be disbelief, unless it slips from the tongue unintentionally.
