It is advisable to be patient with excessive dark skin and to seek reward for it, while it is permissible to use makeup or creams to lighten it, provided that the adornment is not displayed to non-mahrams. It is also known that covering the face is obligatory in the presence of foreign men according to the most preponderant opinion, especially for women who are not elderly.
