The answer

All good deeds are required at all times, and the urging to perform them is emphasized during virtuous times. Among these deeds are forgiveness and the removal of enmities. A Muslim increases their good deeds during virtuous seasons and fears that animosity might prevent their deeds from ascending, so they seek forgiveness from people. It has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that people's deeds are presented twice a week, and every believer is forgiven except for those between whom and their brother there is animosity. Strife and contention prevent good, and therefore a Muslim should not harbor malice towards anyone. Thus, whoever spreads the spirit of tolerance and seeks pardon and clearance of responsibility is upon righteousness and goodness, and there is no harm in reminding of this during virtuous seasons.
