Is it permissible for someone with a lisp or someone who has wiped over their khuff (leather socks) to lead the prayer?

If "does not pronounce it well" means a lack of proficiency in reading with clear articulation, without changing letters, then there is no harm in his imamate. However, it is better for someone more proficient to lead the prayer. If "does not pronounce it well" refers to someone with a lisp (althagh) who merges or substitutes letters inappropriately, then he should only lead those who are like him. It is permissible for someone who has wiped over his khuff (leather socks) to lead in prayer those who have washed their feet, by the agreement of the jurists.
