We previously advised you on what would lead to your salvation, and had you acted on our advice, you would not have fallen into what you mentioned. Therefore, fear Allah the Almighty, and know that He is severe in punishment; He has prepared for those who disobey Him a blazing fire that scorches faces. And reflect on how Allah punished the people of Lut when their natural disposition was corrupted: Jibreel lifted their cities and overturned them upon them, and their pleasure vanished, leaving behind their sorrow and torment. Allah the Almighty has informed us that the punishment that befell them is not far from those who follow their path. For this reason, a group of jurists held the view that the one who commits sodomy should be thrown from a high place and then pelted with stones. So fear Allah and repent to your Lord before punishment befalls you, for whoever repents from a sin, Allah accepts his repentance.
