There are multiple hadiths narrated concerning the night of mid-Sha'ban, among them the : "When it is the night of mid-Sha'ban, spend its night in prayer and its day in fasting..." This hadith was weakened by Al-Albani. There is also the hadith of Aisha regarding the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, being lost and his descent to Al-Baqi', which was weakened by Al-Bukhari, Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Daraqutni. However, Al-Albani authenticated the hadith of Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari, which states that Allah looks down on the night of mid-Sha'ban and forgives all of His creation except for an idolater or a hypocrite.
